Finger Check Up
Today I had a marathon check up at the hospital. First I had to wait for the doctor. She came, said the there weren't any results from pathology yet, but they have been looking at the slides, looked and my finger and hip where everything was good and told the nurses to take out the stitches and rebandage it. So the nurse starts to remove the stitches, but while pulling on the last one to cut it out, disturbs my skin graft so the wound starts to bleed. She then had to press down on the wound with a gauze for it to stop bleeding, which hurt alot. Then she tried again, but gave up as there was too much blood and the knot seemed to be under the graft. She then called the doctor, who I had to wait for again. She came again and removed the last stitch with no fuss, and without a magnifying glass, even poked around the wound checking for any other stitches. Finally, another nurse bandaged up my finger and I have another check up in three weeks time, when there will definitely be results.
