The resort itself was quite interesting, we were dropped off at a car park and had to take a cable car to the slopes, which I thought was going to be like Crozet and just be lifts and runs, but there was a whole little village up there, with some interesting, distinctive architecture, which probably would have blended in with the cliffs from far away.

Avoriaz
Today I went to the snow with the Université de Genève Sports Universitaires. Every Saturday from mid-January to mid-March they have a program where they go to a ski resort with an all inclusive price that includes the bus there and back, the lift ticket and classes if you want to take them. I signed myself up for the intermediate beginner's class for beginners who had skied before. We spent the day snow ploughing down all the blue runs at the resort. Which got quite boring by the end of the day. Having said that though, it was nice to have a class and get corrections and doing exercises to improve my technique, though it was in French.
