Post-Operation Check Up
Today I had my post operation check up. It was very awkward as all of the nurses in the check up area do not know English and I don't know any medicine French. Also, my two usual doctors are on holiday for a couple of weeks, so I had a replacement doctor, whose English wasn't that great. At least there was nothing to report, since he didn't have any results yet. I just had both the wounds checked for infection, and the stitches taken out of my finger, which wasn't very pleasant at all. They also weren't very pretty. The cut on hip is about four centimeters long with diagonal stitches. The finger is really ugly, all blood encrusted and black. Sitting there looking at it, it really hit me that I won't have a normal finger anymore. *sigh*
