WALL.E
is a very cute movie and you should all see it when it comes out in your area of the world. I can't believe it's out here now, in French in Switzerland and won't be out in Australia until mid-September. We really do get jibbed when it comes to release dates. Though Australia got Dark Knight before Switzerland, so it's really movie dependent. I guess they wanted to wait for school holidays. I also can't believe how expensive it is to see a movie in Europe. I guess ten euros in Dublin for an adult was reasonable, but eighteen francs here is a little steep. Luckily they took our Melbourne student cards and we only had to pay fifteen. Popcorn at cinemas is also different here, salt in Dublin and you can get sugared stuff here. A trivial fact, I know, but interesting nonetheless. Oh, another point to note is that I think the Village Roadshow people back at home also own the Pathe cinema chain here, the Villiage symbol was on the chairs and they had the same carpet, which you can see under this random cow statue.
