More fireworks!
Last night was the end of the Fete de Geneve, which meant there was an hour long fireworks display on the lake. My flatmates and their friends invited me out for a picnic, and since the guys from the Australian flat didn't have any concrete plans, I joined them. We set up out our picnic on the north side of the lake, where it wasn't too busy. And the reason for that was apparent when the fireworks started. There were three spots for the fireworks were being set off, and we only had an unobscured view of one of them. But it was okay because there were so many of them, and we could see the higher ones above the trees and buildings. It was a really amazing display, the photo below is of one of the highlights. Huge fireworks which hang in the sky and shimmer for a while afterwards, making it look like it's raining gold.
