Biopsy

So, as I mentioned back in July, I went to the Hospital to get my swollen face and my dark nail checked out. Today was nail biopsy day. It went fine, my finger is now all numb and wrapped up. I am going back on Monday for the post operation findings. It was a little unnerving going to a hospital in country where you don't know the language. It was also a teaching hospital, so the girl who was performing the operation was an intern and was being supervised, with a couple of other interns watching, just well as two nurses. Making six people in the operating theatre. They would speak in French amongst themselves then decide whether to tell me something in English or not. The whole intern thing meant that it took longer than usual, and I got injected more times than I needed to as she didn't do it right the first time. I also had to wear a hospital gown, which I wasn't expecting, but should have realised, since obviously it would be performed in a clean room. Stayed tuned for the results...
