Just finished cleaning up after my farewell party last night. There wasn't too much of a mess, just a lot of empty bottles to be put into recycling, glasses to wash and surfaces to wipe.
I was a little worried about it beforehand, since I had invited a heap of people, I didn't actually know how many of them were going to come. And of course, this continued to be a fear until enough people had arrived for multiple conversations to start and things becoming less awkward.
Of course then, the worry was about people not breaking anything and food and drinks running out, followed by the noise we were all making and waiting for the last people were going to leave. Ah, the joys of hosting a house party.
Anyway, it was a fun party, and I think it went very well. *smiles*
