Bike Ride

Today was a CERN holiday, due it being both a Swiss and French public holiday, for the Ascension of Jesus to Heaven forty days after his rebirth. It's a pity we don't have these extra Christian holidays back home. There's another one in ten days for Pentecost, whatever that is.

Anyway, I took advantage of the holiday and the weather to ride downtown and around part of the lake...


...and wandered around the gardens on the other side.


Open House Day on Saturday reminded me how pretty the lake front is and how I hadn't gone further than the jet on the other side, and while today wasn't clear, the weather wasn't that bad.
